Home Baked
Pasty Bake Off

2pm - Oak Street Stage
By royal decree (and popular demand), the grand tradition of the Home-Baked Pasty Bake-Off returneth to Pasty Fest! Dost thou fashion thy own pasties from scratch, with golden crust and savory goodness fit for kings, miners, and hearty townsfolk alike? Then prepare thineself, for thou shalt be judged!
A panel of esteemed local pasty pundits—nay, true culinary knights of the Copper Country—shall taste and score thy handmade creations with the scrutiny of a Food Network duel. Be ye warned: their tongues are sharp, their standards sharper, and their honor incorruptible (save perhaps by a perfect rutabaga-to-meat ratio).
Bring forth thy finest pasty and let it do battle for glory, bragging rights, and eternal infamy!
Triumphant bakers shall receive $100 in Keweenaw Cash, praise, and everlasting pasty prestige.
